One of Tony's eyebrows twitches into something wry. It's not as if he's not well aware of the general opinion on his relationships. Even if they are nothing like they used to be, he does have a reputation for a reason.

But he does at least take a pause to think about it. The other night had been an aberration for a lot of reasons, though he doesn't blame Steve for possibly assuming otherwise.

"Agreed," he says finally, simply. Honestly, if Steve hadn't been there, that first experience probably would have been enough to put him off the entire thing. He's not all that eager to try again with an unknown and he's far past the age where he felt a need to try things just for the sake of trying them.

"So the next question is. What do we say if someone asks?"
