Buoyed by excitement, Iris just cast a bright grin towards the stranger. At least before the realization caught up enough to cut through it, something a bit more wary cast over the smile as he flicked his gaze away with a nervous little chuckle.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just... wanted to touch it," He shook his head as he sat back, not as scared as he might have been, given the stranger hadn't moved far, still looked more sleepy than aggressive. "Sorry if that's weird."
