What's done is done, and she's right: Loki would rather start anew here than rehash the past. Besides, there is undeniable allure in the idea of having someone around who can't and won't look down on his past actions. They both have the same heredity and the same call to darkness, even if they've responded to it differently.

Or, you know, pretend to be Thor and steer him that way. He blinks when given a cinnamon roll and gives her a real smile. "Did you make these yourself? From scratch?"
