The man in black is looking at Steve for his reaction to this, but Steve seems pretty sanguine about it all. "Make sure everyone's out of that end of the building," he says. "Are they on backup power?"

"They have their own generator, but the power company's ready to cut them off once all the ventilators are switched over," he says. "And gas is cut already."

Steve looks relieved. He's handled worse emergencies with less-proven people on his team, but it's always amazing to have people around him handling their bit. "Okay, looks like their back lot is mostly empty, so we'll make space there. I need a perimeter, keep the residents out of the way."

Glancing up at Superman, he says, "You do the aerial retrieval, I'll handle the ground. If you need to throw something down to me, I can take it."
