Clark was quiet for the moment. Listening to Steve talking to the others on the radio, gaze flicking up where with a bit of adjustment he could see the radio waves, all military frequencies from the style of chatter, all but flooding the airspace. Clearly something was going on.
But then there are introductions, and Clark reaches to take Steve's hand in a firm but careful grasp to shake before releasing his grip. "It's a pleasure to meet you Captain Rogers. I'm Superman, and I'd like to help. Seems like you've got some sort of situation on your hands?"
He was wary of giving out his actual name on the best of days. No telling if there was a Clark here. If he had the same powers or not, if he took the same alias or not, or an entirely different one. Either way, it wasn't his place to potentially out the man as strange, or paint a target on his back if he was merely another human.
