One of the few types of compliments Steve can actually take is commentary on his drawing. He's worked hard at it, and he certainly needs people to think he's good if he's ever going to make a living with it. So, the blush lingers, but fails to intensify, and he smiles.

"Yeah? I went to school for it. Thank you." He fans the page a little to help the ink finish drying. "I wish I could do it in watercolors, but that's not feasible in a black and white publication."
