He tries to match the pressure of her side of the handshake, without trying to compete. There's no need for that, for either of them. His hands are small, a little callused from work and drawing, but with long, sensitive fingers.

"Diana. That's pretty," he says thoughtfully, not to follow Bucky's advice, just out of artless impulse.

And then he blinks, surprised to be invited anywhere. Surprised, and slightly flustered. "Um...something...like what? I mean...I don't have a tight schedule today. I guess I can..."

What just happened here? He thinks it's a good thing, at least, and smiles at her, both sheepish and pleased.
